Abstract

This research investigates the relationship between social capital, knowledge sharing and innovation capacity for office staff in Ho Chi Minh City. The survey was carried out using a questionnaire to collect data by a convenient sampling method. We propose and test a theoretical model based on the data collected from 586 questionnaires were distributed to full-time employees from private companies in Ho Chi Minh City. The research hypotheses were tested by Linear structural model (SEM). Research results show that Social interaction ties, Reciprocity, Identify and Shared goals all have an impact on Knowledge collecting and Knowledge donating. In addition, Knowledge collecting and Knowledge donating both have a positive effect on the Innovation capacity of office staff. With the results achieved, the research helps companies and businesses realize the importance of social capital to help employees constantly innovate, which contributes significantly to the development of companies and businesses.
