Abstract

     The 94-year development history of the Communist Party of Vietnam has witnessed breakthroughs in economic development thinking. By recognizing the commodity economy and transitioning to the market economy as a powerful tool for growth, the Party has demonstrated that this economic model is a product of human civilization rather than just capitalism. This shift in thinking has paved the way for Vietnam's development in all aspects, particularly in the economic field. This article provides an overview of the country's economic growth rate, foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, and foreign trade activities since the innovation period. From there, propose some policy recommendations to contribute to boosting Vietnam's economic development in 2024 and the following years.
