Phát triển du lịch MICE tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh: Thực trạng và giải pháp

Abstract

MICE is a potential market when the revenue of this type brings a large difference with other types of tourism, so from the beginning this type of tourism has received research attention from organizations and scientists around the world. In Vietnam, stemming from practical requirements, MICE tourism has been interested in research since 2003 and has continued to develop in the past 20 years. However, studies on MICE tourism in Vietnam in general and localities in particular, especially Ho Chi Minh City, are still small and fragmentary, not reflecting the development situation. Therefore, in this article, we conduct an analysis of the current situation of MICE tourism development in Ho Chi Minh City, thereby proposing solutions to develop this type of tourism in the future.
