Abstract

In the context of the growing need for automation in digital content management workflows, this research focuses on building a simple system capable of multi-platform automation to optimize the video content uploading and notification process. The system is developed based on the Google ecosystem, with Google Sheets serving as the data entry and management center, and Google Apps Script acting as the processing unit. Users only need to provide basic video information such as title, content description, video file link from Google Drive, expected upload time, privacy mode, and manual hashtags. After receiving the data, the system automatically checks the scheduled time and creates a Trigger to plan the video upload to the YouTube platform. Concurrently, the system sends invitations via Gmail to the guest list; the event will also be added to the guests' personal Google Calendar if they agree to integrate the event schedule from Gmail. When the scheduled time arrives, the system executes the process of uploading the video to YouTube along with all the previously configured information. Experimental results show that the system operates stably, helping to minimize manual operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency in managing the video upload schedule, and increasing the effectiveness of coordination among participating parties.
